ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

ACEM 2019 invites all interested participants (Emergency Physicians/Residents/Paramedics/Nurses) to submit their original research papers, audits or interesting case studies via online portal. All submitted abstracts will be reviewed by Research Committee ACEM 2019 and will be sorted for Oral, Lightning Oral and Poster Presentation. Selected candidates will receive confirmation of acceptance via e-mail. Conference registration is mandatory for final acceptance of abstracts & presentation during the conference.

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION FORMAT

All abstracts (for Oral & Posters) should be in Microsoft word format and must not exceed 300 words.

Abstracts must contain the following headings:

  • Title of the study
  • Name of author(s)
  • Name of the Institute
  • Introduction
  • Aims & Objective or the Case Presentation
  • Methodology or Approach to the Case
  • Key Results or Findings
  • Conclusion
GUIDELINES for oral Presentation

Participants are encouraged to present Original research study/projects with relevance to EM in Microsoft PowerPoint format. Presentations should be 8 min duration only. All residents must have to furnish confirmation letter from Department Head where the research has been conducted. Please note that Oral Presentation slots are limited.

Guidelines for Lightning Oral Presentation

In this category, Oral presentations should be clear and concise and presenters are allowed to discuss their topic in 3 min duration.

Guidelines for poster presentation

Posters should be simple, brief and topic must have relevance to Emergency Research. Recommended poster size would be 100 cm (40 inches) height and 80 cm (32 inches) width – in a vertical format. Poster letter size of 8 mm in height for text and 12 mm in height for headings are suggested for the better visibility by the audience. Author is expected to be at the poster location during the jury visit for evaluation.

Prizes

Prizes for ‘Best Research’ will be given to the top 3 presenting authors under all categories decided by the Research committee.

Publication

Top 10 abstracts of this conference will be published in Journal of Emergency Medicine. https://www.jem-journal.com/
