Dr. Imron Subhan completed his Fellowship in EM from Christian Medical College Vellore. In 2007, he became the first doctor to gain MRCEM qualification in India. With over 13 years of experience in EM and EMS, he is the current Head of Emergency Departments at Apollo Hospitals Hyderabad. He is the Residency Director and Examiner for MRCEM, Diploma-EM and DNB-EM residency training programs.
Imron took over as President, SEMI after prior experience of working with the National Board. He is an active member of IFEM Special Interest Groups for Geriatric EM and Gender-Specific Issues, and is working towards sensitizing Indian EM in these two areas. As AHA Regional Faculty (Asia Pacific region) since 2010, he helped to rollout AHA 2015 Guidelines in India. Dr. Srinath is a graduate of Sri Devaraj Urs Medical College (SDUMC) and completed his MD from Vinayaka Mission University, Salem. He started his career as Emergency Physician in 1998. With over 19 years of experience in EM and EMS, he is the currently Head & Group Coordinator of Emergency Departments at Narayana Hrudayalaya Ltd . across the Country. He is the Residency Director and Examiner for MD (Emergency Medicine), MRCEM, MEM (National & International) and DNB-EM.
Dr. Srinath is the Imm. Past President for SEMI. He is the Asst. Secretary for Asian Society for Emergency Medicine and the President for Intercontinental Committee of EPAT. He was appointed as Member – Special Advisory Board for DNB Emergency Medicine in 2013.He is one of the authors of various books like National Cardiac Life support and HEALTH QUEST, etc. Recently he was awarded as the “Distinguished DNB Teacher of Excellence in Post Graduate Teaching and Assessment” by the National Board of Examinations.
Dr. Dina Shah is a trained anaesthesiologist who realized her true calling was Emergency Medicine! She completed her EM training from Melbourne University and has worked at various capacities in some of the biggest EDs of India. She currently heads the Emergency Department in Fortis Hospitals, New Delhi. She also holds the chair of Vice President, North Zone, SEMI. She was also the 1st Chief Medical Officer for the Formula 1 Grand Prix held in India. As an academician, she runs the EM Residency Program in her hospital and has also trained numerous healthcare providers in BLS and ACLS. Dina loves travelling, reading and stays fit by playing lawn tennis.
